This is the interview with MINI POP UP , that recently i've been asked to reply , when the website decided to use my story and my shopping selection for this week newsletter for readers , today dedicated to " the curator of the month ". Since i've subscribed to Mini Pop Up, i've chosen a lot of items for my personal section. Here the Interview :) thanks to BENO and ALBA!

We met with Amanda to learn more about her blog, TheFashionamy, and what she does as a freelancer.
Where are you from?
I am from Parma, Italy and I live in a little town in the province of Parma near the countryside.
When did your interest in fashion first start?
Since I was six years old, I have always been interested in working with scissors, fabrics and pencils. I was very much influenced by fashion magazines and television. When I was only seven years old, I started to cut photos of fashion shoots and catwalks out of my favorite magazines .
How has fashion become a part of your life?
When i was fourteen, I started taking fashion classes. After some time,I found a job and got some experience aborad. In 2011, I started freelancing as a fashion designer and blogger.
When did you decide to start you own blog?
I created the blog in 2009, but it took some time to get it started. The idea came to me when I was in Lisbon. I wanted to start a website and my friends suggested a blog because it’s relatIvely easy to manage without the help of a web designer. The name comes from 2 words- fashion, the main focus and Amy, my nickname.
What have you gotten out of The Fashion Amy Blog?
Many things, people, friends, followers and skills to integrate into my freelance experience. My blog is a part of my work, and an important part of my life. Blogging is part of my passion, work, and growth.
Describe your blog in 2 sentences?
Open minded, full of topics, focused on creativity, uncommon,and up to date. I try to be a story teller by presenting my passion and experience with my own photos, words and inspiration.
Has anything funny ever happened in relation to your blog?
Sometimes I receive ridiculous emails asking me for all kinds of advice.
How has Minipopup helped you?
It is definitely good, easy, fast ,smart and managed by professional people ! :)
Do you enjoy having your own online store at Minipopup?
Yes, I do! It’s a smart alternative to outfit posts. Instead of posting about the show that I haven’t attended, I can post about my favorite designers and fashion items through an online shop. People who look at my blog can add cool things to their wardrobe :)

Questa è l' intervista di MINI POP UP a cui ho risposto, quando mihanno chiesto se volevo essere "curator of the month " ovvero "curatrice della sezione shopping del mese ". Da quando ho preso parte alla piattaforma , davvero molto spesso ho caricato le mie selezioni dall' ampia scelta presente sul sito :) Nell' intervista come leggerete , le shopping selection sono alcuni dei post preferiti quando non faccio post outfit :)
E per questo ho trovato Mini Pop Up divertente e facile da usare ;) molto rivoluzionario rispetto ad altri social shopping website ;)

Di dove sei ?
Sono di Parma , e precisamente vivo in un paesino dell' Appennino Parmense.
Quando è initiate il tho interesse per la moda ?
Da quango avevo 6 anni, ero interessata ad esercitarmi con tessuti , ago e filo, disegni e matite. Ero affascinata dai giornali di moda degli anni '80 e della televisione. A 7 anni ho iniziato a ritagliare le prime foto delle sfilate e dei servizi di moda sui giornali. Un ossessione mai finita!
Come la moda ha iniziato a far parte attivamente della tua vita?
Quando avevo 14 anni mi soon iscritta ad una scuola di moda. Dopo la scuola e solo vari lavori ho iniziato a trovare lavoro in campo moda, poi sono cominciate le esperienze all' estero. Da lì piano piano è maturata l' idea di lavorare come freelance e nel 2011 ho iniziato definitavemente questo percorso.
Quando hai deciso di aprire il blog ?
Ho avuto l' idea in Portogallo a Lisbona nel 2009, ma ci sono voluti anni per imparare a curare un blog da sola, infatti l' ho lanciato solo nel 2012. Ad un certo pinto affascinata dal web, volevo un sito tutto mio dove raccogliere esperienze. Gli amici suggerirono un blog perché potevo gestirlo da sola senza web master. Il nome viene dal tema principale "fashion" e Amy, il mio nickname
Cosa ti ha dato "The Fashionamy Blog?
Moltissime cose: amici, gente che mi segue, lavoro, curiosità, miglioramento personale, nuove capacità da integrare nel mio lavoro di freelance. Il blog fa parte della mia vita e la mia vita fa parte del blog.
Come descrivi il tuo blog in poche frasi?
Aperto, focalizzato sulla creatività, sul nuovo, sull' aggiornamento continuo. Cerco di raccontare una storia, tante storie , presentandole attraverso la mia passione, esperienza, completando il tutto con le mie foto, le mie parole e le mie proprie ispirazioni.
Ci sono episodi divertenti accaduti da quando hai il blog?
A volte ricevo mail davvero ridicole dove mi si chiede qualsiasi tipo di consiglio o collaborazione, mail scritte come se fossero delle comiche.
Come ti ha aiutato nel blog Mini Pop Up?
E' facile, veloce, intuitivo, ideale da utilizzare per le shopping selection e infine è gestito da presone amichevoli e professionali ! :)
Quindi sei felice di Minipopup?
Certamente ! come dicevo è un modo molto intelligente per create post alternativi ai look, per conoscere le novità deli shop online piu' celebri, brand storici e nuovi. Soddisfando le curiosità die lettori che cercano idee per lo shopping e i trend. Invece di posture foto di sfilata a chi non prendo parte , con Mini Pop Up mi concentro sulla moda reale e su come viene percepita dal pubblico finale. Una cosa divertente è il widget con tutta la mia selezione :)
