Unicorns in Catwalk, Maybe By Catalfo SS2015 collection

Time to come back to post about my canadian friend Sarah Catalfo and of here awesome collection "Maybe By Catalfo.
This post is a nice way to follow the romantic them of the previous where i've posted about garden colors, here the colors keep romantc but are inspired to pastel colors sweets and fairy tales, to unicorn and soft fabrics. There is a space for a black dress too in a super femminine style..I often chat with Sarah, from Canada and i know vey well how she able to express her fashion dreams and here works .We are similare because we are proactive dreamers, but here work is more greater because to put together a collection and bringing it in a catwalk is not easy. Finally, in her SS15 catwalk, i see the unicorns print fabric we talked a lot about, together the other styles and the result is wonderful. This collection is something i'd wear, something hyper feminine, elegant, out of cliché. Sarah works is much better than some famous collections in my opinion.
About the catwalk, Sarah has taken part in Toronto Startup Fashion Week the first edition she has written about in her blog. Toronto Startup Fashion Week has the aim to combine Fashion, Technology and Business, is dedicated to emerging designer to give them a promotional space and to find new ideas for their work with parallel events as parties, conferences and forums. 4 Days that Sarah really has appreciated for her projects.
So, while i wish to wear this collection, enjoy the pics and the video where Sarah talks and her models wear her label ;)

SARAH CATALFO , THE BRUNETE, WITH A FRIEND, DURING TORONTO FASHION EVENTS

E ' da un po' che non vi parlo di Sarah Catalfo e della sua sognante collezione "Maybe By Catalfo.
Questo post con i suoi temi romantici è un po' una perfetta continuazione del precedente, in cui il tema erano i colori del giardino. Qui il romanticismo prosegue, con i colori dei dolcetti, le tinte pastello delle favole e degli unicorni, c'è spazio però anche per un tocco di nero. Sarah, dal Canada, con cui parlo tramite chat molto spesso, racconta molto bene quello che sono i sogni di una giovane stilista piena di desideri, ma anche iperattiva. Abbiamo parlato tanto della stampa ispirata agli unicorni, uno dei temi che poi hanno caratterizzato la sua collezione SS2015. Oltre al fatto che la trovo fantastica, e fortemente adatta ai miei gusti, la collezione fa' riscoprire il gusto di un eleganza non omologata, semplice e iperfemminile. Sarah con il suo lavoro è stata tra i protagonisti di un evento che ha raccontato nel suo blog la Toronto Startup Fashion Week la prima edizione, combinando Moda, Tecnologia e Business, rivolgendosi ai designer emergenti per avere una vetrina per le loro collezioni. E' durata 4 giorni con i suoi parallel events ( conferenze , forum e feste ). Quella si che è una delle fashion week che desidero vedere dal vivo ! Per ora vi post il video in cui Sarah stessa introduce il tema, e le immagini della collezione, di cui spero presto di indossare qualcosa con le stampe degli unicorni ;)
PS. Il post di Sarah ed il video mi hanno ricordato un po' il periodo in cui guardavo "The City", e tutti quei sogni che si hanno quando ci si imbatte in qualcosa che ti cattura ;)
