ENGLISH
Hello everybody!! today i'e the pleasure to introduce Lucie Strong , make up artist from London, fashion worker, creative mind ;) let's discover more about her and her job  through this interview for "The Fashionamy" and let's start to have fun with make up ;)

LUCIE STRONG

AMY- Hi Lucie, you are a MAKE UP ARTIST, may you tell us the specific moment when you 've decided to turn make up passion in a job? What age?

LUCIE- I decided to become a make-up artist at the age of 22.  I was working as a model at the time for a photographer called Leo Rutigliano.  He commented that he thought I did my own make-up well, and suggested I become a make-up artist.  So I studied Fashion Photographic Make-up Artistry, between the ages of 22 and 23, at Glauca Rossi School of Make-up, in London.  It's been my ongoing passion ever since!

AMY- How has been studying MAKE UP ART? Is it easy to find schools for this professional field in U.K. ? May you suggest someones?

LUCIE- Yes there are a lot of make-up artistry schools in the UK, such as Glauca Rossi School of Make-up, Jemma Kidd Make-up School, Academy of Freelance Make-up (AOFM), Delamar, Brushstroke, Greasepaint, and The London School of Beauty & Make-up, plus London College of Fashion do make-up artistry courses too.   I trained at Glauca Rossi School of Make-up, and I believe Glauca Rossi's to be the best in the industry.  I would recommend Glauca Rossi's without hesitation.

AMY- How many years do you work as make up artist? Have you ever worked as Manicure artist?

LUCIE- I have worked as a make-up artist for the last nine years.  I paint the nails on jobs too, but I haven't trained as a nail technician.

AMY- What is your speciality in make up art? Cinema? Theatre? Video clips? Catwalks?

LUCIE- My speciality is in make-up for photo shoots/stills, as I like precision work, & I like creating photos to show my art; followed by make-up for catwalk shows.

AMY- Have you ever made tutorial video?

LUCIE- No I haven't made a make-up tutorial video, but it is one of my plans to make them in future.  I find watching make-up tutorials very interesting, and I think they are a good way for make-up artists to market their skills.

AMY- Have you ever worked with a star? Which is the star of the present or from the past that you 'd like to work with? Would you like working in a Fantasy movie set?

LUCIE- Yes I've applied make-up on the face of supermodel Agyness Deyn on a test shoot; supermodel Lily Cole backstage at an Armani fashion show (where I was assisting make-up artist Val Garland); model and cosmetic surgery advisor Cindy Jackson on a photo shoot for Catwalk magazine; movie star Paul-Marc Davis on a photo shoot for Catwalk magazine and an advertisement for Nick Smith's Rock Ball at The Hard Rock Café, in London; and glamour model Jodie Marsh on a photo shoot for KTS Clothing.  I've applied fake tan to the legs of supermodel Coco Rocha backstage at a Topshop Unique fashion show (where I was assisting make-up artist Hannah Murray).  In future I would like to work with pop stars and rock stars such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Pink and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.  I'd also like to do make-up for a photo shoot with the iconic supermodel Linda Evangelista, and also for photo shoots with iconic movie stars such as Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp.  Stars from the past I would have liked to have made-up would have been Jean Shrimpton and Audrey Hepburn.  I would love to work on a fantasy movie set, particularly a sci-fi or gothic movie set.

AMY- Have you ever took part in a BOOMBOX party? Do you like them?

LUCIE- No I've never taken part in a BOOMBOX party.

AMY- Which are for you the best make up trends for this christmas and winter? And what about summer colors of 2013?

LUCIE- For me, the best make-up trends this winter are a return to the look of the 1960s, with either graphic black and white eye make-up or smoky eyes, and light lips.  For summer 2013 I predict a return to brighter colours such as neon blues, neon greens and neon aquas for eyes, and neon pinks for lips.

AMY- Fluo in make up: IN or OUT?

LUCIE- In for spring and summer.

AMY- Favourite make up products for face and hands?

LUCIE- My favourite products for the face are:-
· The Body Shop's 'Sparkler' shimmer sprays.  They leave a beautiful glittery shimmer on the face, hair or body.
· Nars's eyeshadows and blushers.  They have some awesome colours, and some have beautiful glitter in them.
· Yves Saint Laurent's 'Touche Éclat' and lipsticks.
My favourite products for hands are:-
· Yves Saint Laurent's nail polishes.

AMY- Please tell us your best "Lucie Tips":

LUCIE- My best "Lucie Tips" are to maintain a good skin care routine.  Start with a well cleansed and moisturised face before applying your make-up.  For a natural look use foundation the same colour as the skin on your face.  Keep your make-up brushes clean to ensure you get the colours coming out as intended and to prevent eye infections and/or skin infections.  Don't be afraid to experiment with colour on your eyes.  I admire people for their daring use of colour!  You can read several more of my "Lucie Tips" on the following blog:- http://www.love-and-wardrobe.blogspot.com/2011/02/exclusive-interview-make-up-tips-from.html .

LUCIE STRONG

AMY- Ciao Lucie, tu sei una make up artist, dicci il preciso momento in cui hai deciso ti trasformare la passion per il make up in lavoro ?

LUCIE-  Ho deciso di diventare una make up artist a 22 anni, all' epoca lavoravo come modella per il fotografo Leo Rutigliano, che pensava che io fossi molto brava a truccarmi da sola e mi suggerì di specializzarmi come makò up artist,. così ho iniziato a studiare Fashion Photographic Make up Artistry tra i 22 ed i 23 anni alla scuola di make up "Glauca Rossi" di Londra. E la passione continua ancora oggi!

AMY- Come è stato studiare MAKE UP ART?

AMY- da quanto tempo lavori come make up artist? Hai mai lavorato come Manicure artist?

AMY- Qual' è la tua specialità make up art? Cinema? Teatro? Video clips? Sfilate?

LUCIE- For me, the best make-up trends this winter are a return to the look of the 1960s, with either graphic black and white eye make-up or smoky eyes, and light lips.  For summer 2013 I predict a return to brighter colours such as neon blues, neon greens and neon aquas for eyes, and neon pinks for lips.

AMY- Fluo make up: IN or OUT?

AMY- Dacci qualche "Lucie Tips":

Sperimentare nuovi colori sugli occhi.
